Overview
Seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager with 5+ years of experience to oversee purchasing activities, supplier negotiations, and inventory management.
Must Haves / Mandatory:
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have / Preferred:
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related experience
- Proven track record in supplier negotiations and relationship management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Manage inventory levels to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly
